StockGrit (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Stockgrit mobile application (“the App”) handles your information.

Stockgrit may store the following information locally on your device:

  • Product details (name, SKU, barcode, quantity, unit)

  • Inventory data (stock levels, adjustments, logs)

  • Excel import data

  • User-entered notes or edits

👉 This data is stored locally on your device by default.

b. Automatically Collected Data (Optional)

If analytics are enabled, we may collect:

  • App usage events (feature usage, screen interactions)

  • Performance data (crashes, errors)

  • Device type and OS version (non-identifiable)

👉 This data is used strictly to improve app performance and usability.

c. Camera & Scanner Data

Stockgrit uses your device camera to scan barcodes.

  • Scanned data is processed on-device

  • No images or camera data are stored or transmitted

We use information to:

  • Provide inventory management features

  • Enable barcode scanning and product lookup

  • Generate reports (Stock Health, Movement, Value)

  • Improve app performance and reliability

  • We do not maintain a central database of your inventory data

  • You are responsible for managing backups (if applicable)

  • Data remains on your device until deleted

  • No remote retention unless explicitly stated in future features
